Aluminum foil provides conductivity and electromagnetic insulation. Polyester film provides electrical insulation and high mechanical resistance. On the other hand surlyn film makes the foil to engage and stick to applied surface. Aluminum foils used in cable industry, mainly in coaxial cables, signal and control cables, instrumentation cables, lan cables and data transmission cables. Aluminum foil also used in ventilation industry for flexible pipe production
